This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and sharing of personal information by Cycle Five Syndicate, a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”, or “our”), through RuneCast, a Discord-based word game activity. By using RuneCast, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect minimal information to facilitate gameplay, such as your Discord user ID, username, server and channel information, submitted words, and game scores. We may also collect usage data, such as participation frequency and session duration.
If you buy the themes bundle or a Premium subscription, we store a record of that entitlement against your Discord account so we can unlock the content you paid for. We do not collect or store payment card details, billing addresses, or email addresses. All purchases are processed by Discord as merchant of record, and your payment information stays with Discord.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve RuneCast, including tracking scores, managing multiplayer sessions, providing leaderboards, and responding to support requests. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics to enhance game features or debug issues.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to integrate with Discord’s API for functionality. We may disclose information in response to legal processes or requests from law enforcement.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for gameplay (e.g., session data is temporary) or as required by law. Leaderboard data may persist indefinitely unless you request deletion. We will delete your information upon request where feasible.
